What does it cost? Ground school costs $10 and lasts 1 1/2 hours.  Flight classes cost $90 for the entire day and all the necessary equipment is provided. Students using their own glider pay $65. Five and eight lesson packages are available at 15% and 20% discounts, respectively.

How much does a hang glider cost? New hang gliders start around $3,000. Used hang gliders in good condition sell for $1,000 to $2,000+ depending on  age, design, and condition.  Most students between Hang 1 and Hang 2 purchase a glider, harness, helmet, and training wheels.  Silver Wings, Inc. is a dealer for most major hang gliding manufacturers and stocks new and used equipment.  We assist our students in choosing the right equipment considering each student's experience, goals, and finances.
